We are frequently asked where to go locally to find birds. Fortunately, there are many resources online and in print to help find a great nearby birding spot. In the pages linked below, we provide information for some of our favorite spots, but many more are detailed on the Carolina Bird Club website, which has separate pages for South Carolina and North Carolina, as well as in the books referenced on our Literature page. Cornell's eBird is also a great resource for finding birding locations.
For the sites described on the pages linked below, relevant pages in the cited books are given. For sites with eBird hotspots or a description on the CBC website, links are also provided.
